I spent nine years calibrating industrial sensors and chasing signal faults on the floor before I ever opened an IDE. Now I architect hexagonal, event-driven systems — same instinct, different substrate: trace the signal, trust the data, ship what holds under load.
I bridge the gap between complex software design and physical infrastructure. Before I was a Software Engineering Leader, I was a field engineer reading telemetry off analog instruments — and that background still shapes how I build: reactive systems, hexagonal architecture, and domain-driven design aren't abstractions to me, they're the same discipline I used to apply to a faulty control loop.
Across enterprise software, cloud architecture, and industrial automation, I've modernized legacy infrastructure, led cross-functional teams, and kept a security-first mindset in mission-critical systems — from banking integration platforms to real-time telemetry pipelines feeding AI models at the edge.
What I bring is end-to-end: hybrid cloud ecosystems that connect on-premise infrastructure to modern PaaS, proactive technical leadership, and a genuine curiosity about where agentic AI and spec-driven development take the craft next.
Six frequencies I operate on — the tools change, the discipline underneath doesn't.
Most recent first. Watch the trace — it steadies as the work moves from analog instruments to reactive code, and roughens the further back it reaches into field engineering.
Technical lead for Java & integration work, driving full-stack delivery and system integration across a cross-functional team, with a focus on collaborative technical leadership.
Colombia · HybridBuilt Vecchtelligence SPA, integrating on-premise and cloud environments and running big-data analysis for the company's and its suppliers' AI models. Owned application security review, real-time telemetry interfaces, hardware/software integration, and the underlying data models.
Santiago, Chile · HybridDeveloped and integrated technology solutions spanning cognitive services and real-time tracking, and provided security and solution-architecture consulting for the TyG Vecchtelligence client.
Santiago, Chile · RemoteSat within Movistar's Architecture team, bringing Spring Boot, Apache Camel Fuse, Quarkus, .NET Core, Node.js/Next.js, Angular and Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django) archetypes to the change committee, alongside reusable components like API gateways, orchestrators, login/roles, and SOAP–REST converters. As technical lead for integration projects, planned frontend/backend workloads, CI/CD and versioning, cross-layer application security, and infrastructure integration through first release. Defined architecture-governance policy, compliance and versioning processes, and the frameworks used to guide solution design.
